Hello!
That's me in the red car.... this is so cringey!
Besides my obvious love of weddings, I love travel, animals, live music, food and generally having fun - who doesn't!
I thought I'd show you with pics of some of the things I really love!
Amazon Milk Frog - taken at a macro studio session with Wild Arena at Knowsley Safari Park.
Cockapoo - Lofty my shadow!
Curly Wurly and Sprouts - love in equal measures but not together!
Cats Protection Warrington - I visit the centre weekly and take photographs of the 'sponsor pen' cat and others to help them find new homes (this is Trevor who is now adopted - yay!)
Stables - I've visited some amazing places and it's really hard to choose a favourite, but this is up there. The Southern Cross Ranch in Madison, Georgia. If you love horses and good food, in the middle of nowhere this is the place for you.

a CV but not as long!
I began my career working in the hospitality industry and after a lot of hard work I was promoted to Conference and Banqueting Manager at the now Mercure Haydock Hotel, this involved organising and managing all events big and small, but the best part for me was organising Weddings!
After a good number of years working 50+ hours a week I decided to take a break for a 9 to 5 job.
Next I worked at St Helens Council, Electoral Services, during busy times I once again found myself in the midst of Weddings, by registering ceremonies both at the Register office and certified wedding venues.
During my time at the Council I enrolled at college in the evenings and studied various photography courses.
2005 I photographed my first Wedding, my Cousin was brave enough to give me a shot!
I became a full time professional photographer and established my own business - Sam Rigby Photography in January 2012.
In the same year, I also joined the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) as a fully accredited member.
March 2013, I married Martin on a very wet day in the Lake District (to be expected!)
2020 was full of challenges for all of us so besides decorating, gardening and walking Lofty! I have decided to re-brand and use my married name!
