What is the style and approach of your photography?
I capture weddings with a mix of relaxed, formal and reportage style shots that can be printed in colour and/or black and white.
To capture all of the natural moments, I prefer to be unobtrusive and to blend in, have fun and talk to you and your guests. I am also very keen to spend at least 30 minutes with both of you to capture contemporary poses which flatter and make the best use of light and surroundings. This part of the day is more artistic creation rather than documenting, but couples find this slot fun and the love the results!
Do you travel?
Yes I do! I live near St Helens in the North West of England and can cover the UK and beyond.
Will we meet you before our wedding day?
Absolutely, in fact I would much prefer to! I am very happy to meet you for an informal, no obligation chat where you can look at my sample albums, my portfolio and feedback.
If time doesn't allow for a meeting, I would be happy to email and chat by phone.
Do you have an assistant/second shooter?
I tend to shoot solo and utilise an assistant to help with my equipment, fix dresses, button holes etc. I am able to engage a second shooter to capture plenty of informal moments if required.
How long do you spend at the wedding?
From preparations up to first dance and anything in between, it's your day and entirely up to you.
How many photographs do you take during the day?
I don't have quotas, for all my services I will take in excess of 100 (generally 200-800) pictures from which to choose your favourite album images. Every image is individually colour checked before you get to see them. All edited images will be provided on a personalised usb or electronic transfer (along with the right to reproduce the images to print and share with your family and friends).
How quickly do the images become available for viewing?
Typically 28 days after your wedding (on occasions this may be longer due to holidays and peak times). Too excited to wait that long? I will post a small selection of images to my social media pages usually within 10-15 days of your wedding.
What wedding albums do you offer?
Your main premium Story Book Album will be a stunning A4 production, a variety of finishes are available for you to choose from. Individually designed by me in portrait or landscape style, 30, 40 and 50 page albums available. Alternatively, I offer a Coffee Table range in a 12" or 8" square format or 8 x 6", which has lay-flat paper with the option of 20, 30 or 40 pages. All of the albums and books arrive in their own presentation box.
How many images can we choose for our album?
There isn't a limit! I will however, advise and guide you on what I think would be a good number to choose dependent on the size of your album.
How quickly will we receive our wedding album?
Once again, this is dependent on you. When you have chosen the images, I will design your album and have a proof ready for you, usually with 7-14 days. When you are happy with your design, expect delivery of your beautiful finished album within 21 days. During my very busy periods, I create the albums on a first-come-first-served basis, so to avoid delays it would be absolutely ideal if you could select your chosen images within 3 weeks.
Can we order smaller, duplicate sizes?
Of course you can! Utilising the same artwork as the main album, I can offer A5, hardback parent books, A6 hardback/soft back guest books, 4" square or 4 x 5.5" soft back guest books.
What other products do you offer?
For your wedding day, I can design a signing board (with an image from the pre-wedding photo shoot) for your guests to record their individual message to you.
I am also delighted to offer metal prints, canvas wraps and bamboo panels.
Thank you cards are also available to order, using an image(s) from your wedding day.
Can our friends and family order prints too?
I would be delighted if your family and friends choose to order prints too. Ask your guests to contact me and I will be happy to discuss their requirements.
Can I view feedback from your other client's?
Yes, I am proud of the kind words that couples have been good enough to write about my work and their experience. These can be found on my website.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not! My pricing is deliberately transparent and unfussy. Because each couple and each wedding is different, I offer a variety of packages and additional options to suit every taste and budget. I will provide you with written confirmation of each and every component of the day.

Yes, I am insured with AXA Insurance UK Plc.
